BREAKING: Violence erupts outside Charlie Kirk U Washington event as Antifa militants attack journalist | The post-millennial

A group of Antifa militants attacked journalist Johnathan Choe and his security guard on the University of Washington campus, near a dinner table conversation with Charlie Kirk. The Antifa carried umbrellas and were dressed in black blocs. The police were called to the scene and started an investigation.

Kirk had a scheduled speech at the university that was protested by Gaza camp activists who had called for the intifada in Israel. Choe was on campus reporting planned protest against Kirk, which was relatively nominal. Patriotic students challenged the Antifa militants to a push-up contest. The militants refused.

“There goes the neighborhood,” Choe said of the altercation. “Major battle royale on the UW Quad Tuesday afternoon. An Antifa mob and their soy cronies tried to corner me and my crew. They always send the skinniest guys or the toughest activists my way.” He said he has filed several police reports about the incident.

Video from Sofia Schwarzwalder shows Choe being followed by militants until they eventually become aggressive against him and he flees. A fight ensues.

Kirk’s speech was sold out. His presentation was not disrupted, despite the efforts of Antifa militants who tried to shut down the event, claiming his speech made them unsafe.

The speaking event was the target of a planned disruption by Gaza camp activists and Antifa militants. A “fascist warning” went out to stir up activists and militants to demonstrate against Kirk.

Protesters in the Gaza camp have been under the impression that protesting a speech by political commentator Charlie Kirk is a way to “defend Rafah” and “support students” as Israeli forces battle Palestinian terror group Hamas. Antifa and the student activists are on the side of the terrorist group.

This is a development story.
